ADULT: ANY FEMALES POST-HIGH SCHOOL AGE
  • Teacher: Sondra Satterfield
  • Topic of Study: Boundaries - This is a study authored by Drs. Henry Cloud & John Townsend
  • Location: In the Fellowship Hall. Go down the steps near the door where you entered the church for service, and you'll find us there.

Do you have trouble saying no? Can you set limits and still be a loving person? Are you in control of your life? What are legitimate boundaries? There are nine lessons in this DVD curriculum. Beginning Nov. 15, 2009. If you're interested in joining us, please contact Sondra Satterfield so a participant's guide can be reserved for you.

ADULT
  • Teachers: B. J. Peters & Donna Todd
  • Topic of Study: Book of James - Studied by discussing the text along with reading the comments found in the William Barclay Commentary. MUCH discussion by class members is involved, but feel free to just listen and soak it all in. This is a VERY informal class.
  • Location: In the Educational Wing. We're at the top of the steps - first door on the right. From the Fellowship Hall come through the kitchen and come up the stairs on your right. Come in the first doorway on your right at the top of the stairs. Keep your coffee to sip as we chew on the Scripture passages at hand.

Have you been thinking that you need to either start reading the Bible, or have considered joining a small group for study and discussion? Why not join us in our quest to discover what the Bible has to say to us as individuals?

Because our class is on the casual side, it's a great opportunity to get to know some of the other folk that worship at Whatcoat whether you're new to the church or have attended for years. Feel free to drop in on a class any week. If you can't make it every week, some study is better than no study.

ADULT
  • Teacher:Tom Van Drunen
  • Topic of Study:In-depth Study of the Gospel of John
  • Location: Room at top of stairs in Sunday School wing.

If you are looking for a challenging, friendly group please join us on Sundays at 9:50. It will be a verse by verse treatise of the book based on William Barclay's commentary.

If you can't make it to Tom's class, this is a great book for you to utilize in your study at home.
